My name is Gabrielle and I am Canadian.
I started making jewellery in the winter of 2005, after being inspired by a wire artist I saw the previous summer at the Nova Scotia Gem and Mineral Show, which is held annually in Parsborro, NS. I later started this blog after most of my myspace entries became about the jewellery I had made, and I discovered that the combination of Picasa and Blogger simplified the posting of my photos.
Being mainly a hobby, there won't necessarily be frequent regular entries, just whenever I make something I want to show off, or I discover something I think might be useful to other hobbyists like myself. Although making jewellery is primarily a hobby, and something about which I have a lot to learn, I do sell a few pieces from time to time.
In addition to making jewellery, I have been known to also draw, write poetry and short stories, play at the guitar and drums, collect (and sometimes even use) antique cameras, design and make my own clothing, and design graphics for my blog...but I won't be posting about that stuff here :D
